• Question: Why is it that one foot can be bigger than the other?

      Sometimes we just grow that way, or sometimes we can have an accident as a child that stops one foot growing as quickly as the other.

      It’s perfectly normal. Also, as we are growing, sometimes one bit of us grows faster than an other – the other bit will probably catch up eventually.

      This is because our body is not symmetric – heart on the left (most times!), liver on the right, pancreas on the left, etc – and this is reflected on the structure of our arms, legs, feet.

      Now here’s a fun fact: our walk is uneven as a result and this is why, if we go somewhere where we cannot see, we end up walking in circles!
