      We’ve seen signs of arthritis in skeletons of ancient humans as far back as 4500BC. Palentologists have also identified signs of arthritis in DINOSAURS! So it’s been around for millions of years.

      However – it was first described and called “arthritis” in 1715, by a chap called William Musgrave.
