I don’t remember having a science kit, but I did have astronomy books and borrowed my Dad’s binoculars to go stargazing. I also had a lot of lego. Lego is awesome.

I had a chemistry set when I was about 11 – one of the things I most clearly remember doing with it was growing brilliant blue copper sulphate crystals which obviously inspired me at least a little bit!
I was also given a microscope when I was about 8, which I think was what really kick-started my interest in science.

      I don’t think I ever had a chemistry set as a kid.

I did have a microscope and loads of pots and tanks for keeping bugs in. I was, and still am, fascinated by insects.

I also used to use my grandad’s telescope.

No I never had a chemistry set or anything like that growing up. If the lab now counts as a sceince kit I have a huge one! Even came with a synchrotron about 550M long.
