Right now – no. We are not currently capable of making an artificial brain that could be used to help people who might need one.

In the future – who knows? Maybe!

The brain is still quite a big mystery to us, it has been said that we know more about the universe as a hole than we know about the human brain. With that in mind its going to be pretty hard to create an artificial brain when we don’t actually know how the whole thing works. Maybe one day.

Currentlly, we’re nowhere near advanced enough in our understanding of neuroscience (the study of the brain) to create something complex enough to replace the human brain. We can create computers capable of incredibly complex calculations but these must be programmed by humans, they also don’t have emotions.
