Arthritis is the break down of the cartilage (our bodies shock absorber) in our joints – when this cartilage breaks down, the bones in our joints rub against each other which can cause more damage, stiffness and a lot of pain.

Arthritis will affect us all eventually, but some people will get it sooner, or worse than other, depending on things like being overweight, sporting injuries, or genetic risk factors that we don’t fully understand yet.
