Benjamin Hall answered on 19 Jun 2013:
I still am! My undergraduate degree took me three years and I’m 3/4 of the way through the first year of my PhD.
The great thing about being a scientist is you never really stop studying!
David Briggs answered on 19 Jun 2013:
3 years for my Biochemistry degree, 1 years for my Masters and 2.5 years in my PhD. So 6 and a half years all together.
I’m still learning though – science is a profession where you pick up new skills all the time.
Sam Horrell answered on 20 Jun 2013:
I did a 3 year medical biochemistry degree and went straight into a PhD which I’m now about half way through.

My Engineering degree took 5 years, my PhD took 3, I did a Postdoc for almost 5 years. Am now on my 6th year as a Lecturer, still learning every day…. and more recently, with the students at the Crystallography Zone. You are all great!
