I would go to 55 Cancri e. it is a rocky world, twice the size of Earth but is 8 times its mass, so it is classified as a super Earth. The temeperature of it is 2,150 degrees celcius and because it is a carbon rich planet the conditions are perfect for forming diamond. So under a layer of graphine on the surface there is a layer of solid diamond.
This is going to sound very, very boring as it’s a planet in our solar system but I’ve always loved Jupiter. I think it looks stunning in telescope images, I love that we can see it from Earth with the naked eye.
I want to see Jupiter’s ‘spot’ up close as well. It’s a huge storm which could fit 2-3 Earth sized planets within it.
And there are loads of these storms all over Jupiter!
One of the new ones recently discovered by NASA’s space telescope, capable of sustaining life. I’d want to be there without a mask, dive in their sea, leave my footprints in their sand. Hopefully not be eaten by their dinosaures! I’d be their alien, raising my hand and announcing I came for 24h, in peace 🙂
