I don’t need to wear glasses so can’t be certain, but the point of glasses is to help they eyes focus the light so you can see properly. So when you put on the glasses yo are seeing the world in focus, not necessarily differently.

I have no idea. I have 20:20 vision and when I put people’s glasses on it really distorts things.

Now – I don’t wear glasses, but the point of glasses is to correct defective vision – by acting as a second set of lenses – so they obviously do something – whether that partially distorts what people see, I dont know for sure.

Yes, you do see things differently. I wear glasses most time and a whole world of details appears when I put them on. Even when I look at 2 stars in the sky that are very close: without the glasses I see a large blurred light, and when I put glasses on I distinguish two separate smaller points.

Glasses help you focus the light you receive in your eyes, so that you can distinguish more details in the image your brain gives you 🙂
