      I look at the shapes of molecules, mostly proteins. The great thing about this is that the shape of a protein pretty much tells you how it works and proteins do almost all the amazing things that are going on in your body or any other living thing.
      A few things I’ve looked at recently are proteins that let Malaria causing parasites infect blood cells, proteins that control how DNA is divided between cells when the split in two and proteins that fungi use to digest dead wood!
