      Graphene!

Graphene is an amazing material discovered here in Manchester – it is only 1 atom thick, but by weight is one of the strongest materials known.

Scientists in manchester are working hard to find ways of using graphene – some think it could revolutionise electronics and lead to much much faster computers.

      I’d say Graphene as well.

In terms of substances produced by living things, I think we’d have to go for spider’s silk!
