0 Question: What makes copper able to retain its heat for so long? Keywords: chemistry Asked by higgsboson to Susana on 18 Jun 2013.
Susana Teixeira answered on 18 Jun 2013:
Copper does not retain heat very well, in fact it is a very good heat conductor, or in other words it transfers heat very well. This is why you often find it in heaters, you want a material that does not retain heat but instead gives it out.
