• Question: whats the best thing about being a scienceist

      Doing something I’m really interested in every day is probably one of the best things, although of course it can be pretty frustrating when the experiments aren’t behaving!
      Another great thing about science as a career that can often be overlooked is that it’s a truly international profession and presents great opportunities for travel – I’ve been able to go all over the World doing interesting things everywhere I went.

      Very occasionally ( I think about 6 or 7 times during my career so far) I get to see something that no human has ever ever seen before.

      That is deeply cool, and that is the best thing about being a scientist, imo. 🙂
