      Hi – great question.

      You probably couldn’t stop people getting it, because it is a “wear and tear” disease – every time you use your joints they get slightly damaged – what we are trying to do is figure out ways to help the body repair the damage though, so you might be able to stop the disease getting worse, or even reverse it a little bit.
