      £500 would help me fund public engagement – talking to people who are not scientists, about science.

      Whilst I have money to do science, the people who fund my work (Arthritis Research UK) give me that money to spend on science, not public engagement – so this £500 would be great! Plus, I get to put that I won on my CV 😆
